Beidweiler

Located in central Luxembourg the Beidweiler long wave transmitter site broadcasts RTL French program on 234 kHz using two Thomson-2175 transmitters, each capable of transmitting 1000 kW. These powerful transmitters were installed in 1994.

Standby transmitter using two Thomson-2170 transmitters. These transmitters were installed in 1972 and used until replaced by the Thomson-2175.

Long wave aerial using three towers at 290 metres heigh.

Emergency power generator: 2640 kW.
